Different ratings for different roles
A libero, a middle blocker and an opposite are not measured the same way. Ratings take the role into account: passing quality for receivers, efficiency and errors for attackers, distribution for setters.
The result is a player rating that makes sense to compare over time, and that ends up in the player profile and the season statistics.
Reprocess when something changes
If you fix a file or the rating engine improves, you can reprocess one scout file or all of them. Season statistics update accordingly.

Do I need DataVolley to use VolleyCoach Pro?
No. Scouting is one module: without .dvw files you still use attendance, practices, tactical boards and the rest. With them, you also get detailed reports and statistics.
Can I scout a match live inside the app?
Not today. VolleyCoach Pro reads the .dvw files produced by your scouting software and turns them into reports and season statistics.
Do player names in the file need to match?
On the first upload the platform helps you match the players in the file with your roster; after that the link is remembered.
